Need a prop weapon for a big scene in the movie you are making and it calls for you to be able to hit your actor and a real one just won’t be to safe or need a prop weapon for your haunted house for your actors to use to scare the customers? Or maybe you just need the perfect fake weapon to finish that Halloween costume you have been working on all year well this one will do the trick.
Unlike most prop weapons on the market mine is made with stability safety and durability in mind. All of My prop weapons are made using a real wooden handle and have a flexible 5lb foam head. The 5lb foam is perfect if you need to do a scene in a movie that requires forceful contact. Against another actor that would be to dangerous with the hero weapon or the stronger 25lb foam.
all of the heads were molded off of a real weapons. I use real handles for a few reasons. First this guaranties that the handle will be 100% authentic and as sturdy as possible 2nd it gives the weapon some weight 3rd this allows you to just replace the head of the weapon if during filming or us it gets damaged.
I have used other prop weapons before on film sets where the entire thing was made from foam with a wooden or metal rod inserted in the handle and I can assure you when time and money is a factor there is nothing more frustrating when the handles break or bend and the prop is useless
