Unlike most prop weapons on the market mine is made with stability safety and durability in mind. the bat has a thin metal rod in it that is thick enough to heep the bat strait at all times but not big enough to cause any harm to the actor The 5lb foam is perfect if you need to do a scene in a movie that requires forceful contact. Against another actor that would be to dangerous with the hero weapon or the stronger 25lb foam.
